DHM Labs (NZ) Ltd is an independent privately owned analytical and research laboratory. The laboratory was founded by Sophie & Richard Brake and has been operating since 1996. The company was rebranded in 2004 and now operates from new purpose built premises at 45 Kitchener Road, Pukekohe.

Our range of tests covers Soils (nutrient and microbiological), Plant (tissue & sap), Water, Fertilisers, Microbiological and Feeds.

Our Mission Statement is “To provide an independent, fast, quality assured analytical facility personalised to meet individual client needs.”

At DHM Labs (NZ) Ltd we pride ourselves on being able to provide a personalised service to all our clients to meet individual needs, whether it involves one of testing, redesigning current test layouts to suit needs or implementing a new analytical method or procedure. We seek to be a specialist niche laboratory that produces tests and packages that other larger laboratories are unable to achieve and to maintain a contact with and responsiveness to our clients that can only be achieved by a niche company.

We have an extensive knowledge and experience in analytical procedures as well as the commercial interpretation and application of the analysis undertaken. This expertise enables us to provide the best service possible for our clients.

We carry out research & trial work to calibrate and introduce new methods. The laboratory also offers this service to clients who have developed research and analytical requirements in particular areas on an ongoing basis.

Our commitment to Quality has seen us hold ISO/NZS/AS 9001:2000 and JAS-ANZ accreditation audited by SGS since 1999. We are also a MAF approved import facility for animal products and are members of the Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council and New Zealand Association of Consulting Laboratories.
